Kadia is an Occupational Therapy Service in the Eastern Region of Melbourne (current head office in Kilsyth). With increasing demands on our specific skills, our team are ever growing as we provide support for those in the eastern regions of Melbourne. What Your Role Looks Like: 

This role has a mix of accounts and administration, with the primary focus on accounts, with additional areas of work to include organisational administration tasks and leadership team support. 

Prior experience working with NDIS and TAC is preferable but not required, however working in a collaborative team is a must. 

Key Skills: 

We need someone who has Xero Skills, understands accounts receivable, Pay-G and BAS… and has experience or is willing to learn about payroll.  

Responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks will involve but not limited to the following:

  • Process invoices & end to end accounts receivable
  • Aged debt management 
  • End to end payroll 
  • End to end accounts payable 
  • Bank Reconciliation in Xero and maintaining the books
  • BAS lodgement
  • Supporting client accounts manager with service agreement documentation and client follow up
  • Office admin to support the leadership team including diary management, document control and reception.

 

This role is right for you if the following are true…

  • 2-5 years experience as a bookkeeper or similar roles
  • Proficient Xero and Microsoft Office suite
  • Attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology and online solutions
  • Enjoy a balance of collaborative and autonomous work 
  • A self-starter and yet know when and how to ask for help. 
  • Enjoy having fun, socialising as a team and being a part of something bigger than yourself. 

This role is not for you if: 

  • You are more interested in yourself than working as a team

  • Are unable to be authentic and transparent in your work 

  • Does not appreciate growing nor the challenges that result in growing. 

  • Unwilling to work as a team, placing yourself front and center for attention 

  • You pull down the culture of the team by not upholding the values of the team.
